Benefits of Student Groups
-provide feeling of acceptance
-get you exposed to people who share your interests/world view
-people in student groups are enormous contacts in professional life
Want to identify barriers to participation
- Activities day accessibility
- Spotlighting GS student leaders
- Wants to get other governing boards involved
Reach out to GSSC
- Reach out to GS advisors
- Reach out to "unlikely leaders"
- Survey the student body
- Write a recommendation/report
- Present to governing boards
- Consolidation of information for GS students
- Possibly a spring club fair
